Climate Choir

Calling all choirs

SEAM is inviting community choirs to join us in an exciting new performance event that urges people to act on climate change. The event will coincide with the United Nations Bonn Climate Conference in November 2017.

Participating choirs will learn three songs and perform them in front of the town hall/civic hall, state or federal parliament buildings in their town or city. The final performance will include hundreds of singers from choirs around the country, joining voices to call for action on climate change.

The songs are:

  • No Longer There, by Felix Reibl
  • All the Wild Wonders, by Sue Johnson and Elizabeth Honey
  • Which Side are you On?, by Florence Reece

All songs have been arranged for 4 part choir. Scores for each song will be provided to choirs as well as audio recordings of parts to support your rehearsals. We will also send you information about how to publicise your participation in this event.

If you would like to be involved in this project please contact Tracy Bourne, Artistic Director of the project on tracy[a]

We will shortly be launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for filming, photography and editing of the event, and management of the project. Please consider donating to this exciting project.
